• Research studies and workshops on issues related to North East India's problems and possibilities of development of the region are conducted by the research
  and documentation section.
• Slide programmes on diverse topics like Youth and Youth related issues, Teachers, land and people of the North East are also produced.

Action Research
An effort in finding solution to problems faced by teachers. It provides an opportunity to teachers to explore themes like Teaching learning process, Evaluative procedures, Learning Strategies and Curriculum Development to contribute towards the quantitive and qualitative expansion of education. Sponsorship is provided to teachers whose research projects get selected. The teachers present their papers in group seminars.

BSLN
Bosco School Leaders Network:
A Formal and organised forum where heads of institutions share and discuss their experiences to achieve educational growth and professional development. BSLN creates an effective network that connects the heads of the institutions and offers opportunities for updating knowledge , sharing problems, and reflection through training, discussion and meetings. Committed to school improvment from within; BSLN attempts to improve the quality of life and learning in schools.

YDC
Youth Development Centres:
Ten Youth Development Centres(YDCs) with a Director and Centre Coordinator for each centre, spread over various parts of the North Eastern Region. These YDCs cater to Youth Development activities in these areas and conduct vocational training programmes to provide employment opportunities for youth of the underdeveloped areas.
